Artist's Comments

This is another piece I did last semester. It is one of my favorites, mainly becuase of all the personal meaning. It has to do with my fears. Yes its on cardboard and yes there are burnt holes in it and burnt paper on it. The poem is The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T.S. Eliot.

Done in : Pastel, ink, charcoal, photo transfers, ink/conte rubbings, matches, tile samples, and all done on cardboard.

OMG...The body you have on here is so real looking. I didn't know what it was at first because the shading and everything is done so well that it looks 3D, like you formed the shape out of clay. The eye is really impressive, and the drawings going down the right side fits well. I'm really floored with this. Amazing job.

Thanks so much and thanks for the favorite!

I like this. I mean, yeah, it looks cool... oh, god, I like this sounds so dumb. More than thinking it's attractive, though, I mean, I like that everything in it really means something to you.

It doesn't sound dumb. And thank you.
